Doris Gillette is a professional cake-decorator, simply using a different medium, to create cakes, candies, and desserts that LOOK like the REAL THING, but is made from materials that will allow them to last for YEARS to come.  Doris enjoys unique decorating in both her home and in her small-town famiy-ran restaurants.  This unique decorating lead her to creating display pieces that look like REAL food, but is there to simply enhance the decor.

Sweets Unique Fake Foods is also part of Sweets Unique & Dews Diner. Besides realistic fake food products we also provide REAL pies, cakes and more to order for residents and businesses in the Monmouth and surrounding Western Illinois & South Eastern Iowa region.

You may contact us by phone, here online or visit with us in person at our diner (with banquet room) in Smithshire AND/OR Little York, Illinois open Monday through Saturday, (except holidays) 6:00am to 1:30 pm (as well as our Mexican-themed dinner nights on MONDAYS in SMITHSHIRE - 5:00 p.m. till 7:30 p.m.; and TUESDAYS in LITTLE YORK, same time) and by appointment other times.  We now ALSO offer a SUNDAY BUFFET in LITTLE YORK ONLY on SUNDAYS 11:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m.
